Pastor Tim Perlick
Tim Perlick has accepted a call to Mount of Olives Lutheran Church and will be ordained and installed as our pastor on May 13 at 3:00 PM.
Tim served as Vicar at Crossroads Lutheran Church in San Tan Valley, serving under Pastor Charles Newman. While working with Pastor Newman, known for his innovative approach to missional communities, Tim developed creative skills in meeting people where they are in their lives.
Tim is passionate about helping people to define their identity in Christ and to help them develop their discipleship as followers of Jesus. With 40 years of success and failure in corporate, entrepreneurial and personal life, Tim understands and respects the challenges each of us face in our everyday lives. Tim brings his teaching and administrative experiences to help his fellow siblings in Christ to answer their call from God through their own unique mix of vocational gifts.
Tim takes an ecumenical view towards ministry, looking to widen perspectives to see Christ’s church with one shared mission: to be of service in bringing God’s kingdom into our world.
Tim works to fit his leadership into the framework of Micah 6:8: to act justly, love mercy and walk humbly with our God.
